Understand the scope

Heat Exchangers
for your project.

A heat exchanger inquiry starts with the fluids, operating conditions and required duty. The appropriate arrangement and material depend on these inputs. Share the project specification to confirm the proposed design responsibility, manufacturing scope and documentation.

Define your requirements

What are you looking for?

Equipment inquiries

Define the required exchanger type, duty and operating conditions.

Component inquiries

Identify tube bundles or other components by drawings and dimensions.

Replacement review

Provide original equipment details and describe any changes to service conditions.

Technical review

Specifications that help
us prepare a quotation.

These are the inputs to provide, not fixed product ratings. Dimensions, materials and scope are confirmed against your project requirements.

Media and dutyFluid names, flow rates, inlet/outlet targets and heat duty if known
Design conditionsPressure, temperature and applicable equipment standard
MaterialsSpecified grades and corrosion or cleaning requirements
Mechanical constraintsEnvelope, connection sizes, supports and installation limitations
CertificationRequired authorization, inspections and project documents

01 / REVIEW

Drawings & conditions

Identify the component, interfaces and design requirements.

02 / DEFINE

Materials & scope

Agree specifications, quantities and supply boundaries.

03 / CONFIRM

Quality requirements

Confirm inspections and documentation before production.

04 / PLAN

Packing & delivery

Agree transport requirements and the shipment schedule.

Quality & documentation

Make requirements explicit.

Confirm applicable manufacturing authorization and testing requirements for the selected exchanger type. Materials, dimensions and inspection documentation are agreed during technical review.

Documented license scope

GCB’s Chinese Class A boiler component license covers serpentine tubes, headers, membrane walls and finned economizers. Other equipment inquiries require separate confirmation of applicable authorization and supply scope.

Packing & shipment

Plan for your
delivery conditions.

Include the destination, handling limits and preferred delivery schedule in your inquiry. Packing, lifting and transport arrangements are agreed for the actual order.

Information to confirm

  • Destination and requested delivery terms
  • Component dimensions and handling constraints
  • Required surface and connection protection
  • Packing marks and shipping documents
Before you inquire

Frequently asked questions.

Can you select a design from basic process data?

Send the available process data and constraints. The team will first confirm the available engineering and supply scope.

Can I inquire about a tube bundle only?

Yes. Include the tube layout, dimensions, materials, interfaces and required quantity.

Does every exchanger use the same certification?

No. The applicable requirements depend on equipment type and project specifications and must be confirmed for the proposed supply.
